Ryder's Mission

Baptisms! Hey everyone!! Buenas tardes, como están?? Just wanted to give a quick update on everything that went down this past week!! From my last email, I told you about an old friend of the missionaries that came for the first time in a long time, and he said he wanted to be baptized that week... he couldn't come Wednesday but we were able to baptize him this past Friday!! This past Sunday, we also baptized hermana Reina, that has known the missionaries for 18 months!! It was super special, she was super happy afterwards!! Spiritual thought: We've been super busy this past week, and I've been loving it! A scripture I really like is D&C 31:5  5 Therefore, thrust in your sickle with all your soul, and your sins are forgiven you, and you shall be laden with sheaves upon your back, for the laborer is worthy of his hire. When we are faithful and want to do the Lord's will, we will be "laden with sheaves" and be blessed more than we can imagine!! That's ab...

Found a cool train Andddd a couple cool flowers I found the past couple of days   What's up everybody, how's it going?? Como estamos?? Just thought I'd give a quick update on life down here!! Last couple weeks of the last transfer were a bit rough, but I stayed here in Quezaltepeque and everything has picked back up!! Couple amazing miracles: 1. We have a friend that has known the missionaries for 16 months and has come to church over 50 times. She hasn't been able to be baptized for her living situation, but after all this time she's going to be able to be baptized this next Sunday!!! We're super hyped for her!!! 2. Had an incredible miracle this past Sunday, one of the old amigos of the missionaries here came to church out of the blue, and at the end of the meetings said he wanted to be baptized this Wednesday .
