Elder Rodriguez, first day in the field   Last little bit with Elder Godfrey Exchange with my last brother in the mission (shoutout to Elder Moss, our trainer ) Thought this was hilarious, keep in mind we're in the middle of a city Hey hey everyone! Como estan?? Worked up the animo to send an email this week, sorry it's been a minute. But here's been some stuff going on Transfer news: My first kid, Elder Godfrey was transferred out. Not going to lie, it was a bit sad, it was a blast with him. But he has a Latino comp now to teach him spanish, so it'll be good for him Andddd (drum roll  .....) I'm training once again! My new companion is Elder Rodriguez from Nicaragua, he's a beast. When I first got the news about training, I was a bit bummed ngl cuz I wanted to work as hard as I could and run and fast as I could (figuratively and maybe literally speaking ) with the little time I have left. But my companion came super prepared, I hardly feel like I'm training...

Oyyy! Buenas tardes a todos, como estan? Perdón que no he escrito, pero aqui estoy!! First off, happy Morthers Day!! Hope you all had a great one, thank you to all those that are mothers for your hard work and love The last couple of weeks have been awesome! Full of miracles of finding people, people coming to church, and our friend Justin was able to get baptized!!  The coolest part of the baptism was His friend (our recent convert) was able to do the baptism. It was his first time, and he was super nervous, but he did a great job and it was really special to see We have a couple more friends on date for here soon, please keep Marciel and David in your prayers I think I'm pretty used to being a missionary now... I'm finding that nothing quite satisfies me anymore like having a really spiritual lesson or being guided to find really cool people. Is there such a thing as being a spiritual addict? The funny:   - A drunk guy started running after us on exchanges with the DL, secon...

Hola, como estan?? Esta semana fue super loca , a lot went down this past week To start off, sorry it's been a while, I sent an email last week but I don’t think it ever went through.... so just for a quick recap, I got transferred to an area called La Espiga, where I'm covering a ward and a group, and I'm also a trainer, training Elder Godfrey!  Training has been fun and interesting. Let me just sum it up in one conversation we had... the gist of it was me asking "where are the norms (missionary standards handbook) that they gave you?" His reply was "I never got those"  It's been fun though, he's doing well and learning pretty fast, even though some days he makes me want to pull my hair out (I suppose that’s why they call it having a kid in the mission ) The work is going great over here, we have a lot of people progressing and a couple fechas (baptism dates) here pretty soon! There were some crazyyyyy stuff that went down this past week thoug...

Elder Cangalaya Never get tired of these views Holaaaa a todos!!  Sorry it's been a minute, wanted to get an email out last week, and the week before, we might or might not have made my third trip up Chaparastique but this time as the trail guide  Don't worry though, we all made it safe and sound General Conference was incredible!! We had 10 friends that were able to see the conference. Two of them came in person to the chapel sunday morning too!! But halfway through the conference the chapel lost power and they left  But more about conference in the spiritual thought Transfer news!! After two transfers in San Rafael, I'm headed out to La Espiga to train. Not going to lie, I'm super sad to leave San Rafael, it was incredible being in a place where missionaries had never been. Being with Elder Cangalaya was awesome as well, I learned a lot. But La Espiga is going to be great, and I'm training!! Prayers for my new companion!! Still keeping my streak strong of whitewas...

Hey everyone!! It's been a little while, figured it was time for a little update! Everything is going great here in San Rafael with Elder Cangalaya. Big news... we finally have a house (more or less)!!!  It's a second story studio apartment... so just a big square with a bathroom (and no sink but the bathroom sink ) but we have AC so it's all chill, definitely a lot better than 2 45 minute travels to and from the area every day Had three friends make the 45 minute trip to church with us this week!! Gotta say, you never really appreciate cars until you don't have one, count your blessings Some other random experiences:     - Had a really tough day, all of our lessons fell through, we walked for miles and miles and were exhausted and defeated. But, while waiting for our taxi in a park, we decided to talk with 1 more person, and he was super elegido!! We've met with him 3-4 times now, but it was a lesson that hard times are just preparing the way for miracles ...
