Hey hey everyone! Como estan?? Worked up the animo to send an email this week, sorry it's been a minute. But here's been some stuff going on👇

Transfer news: My first kid, Elder Godfrey was transferred out. Not going to lie, it was a bit sad, it was a blast with him. But he has a Latino comp now to teach him spanish, so it'll be good for him🙌

Andddd (drum roll 🥁.....) I'm training once again! My new companion is Elder Rodriguez from Nicaragua, he's a beast. When I first got the news about training, I was a bit bummed ngl cuz I wanted to work as hard as I could and run and fast as I could (figuratively and maybe literally speaking😅) with the little time I have left. But my companion came super prepared, I hardly feel like I'm training, so it's super awesome, we're working hard🔥

Some sad news: Heartbreak #2 in the mission. We had a friend David that was incredible, was on track to be baptized Sunday, but cancalled the night before. Second time in the mission that's happened; it wasn't an easier than the first time, but I know one day he'll make the right choice, we did all we could. 

And you might be saying "Elder Bagley, what do you mean with the little time you have left?" Wellllll I may or may not be entering into my last transfer in the mission😅 It feels super weird, time has flown by. But don't worry, we're leaving it all here these last weeks🙌

There's been a lot of other stuff that has happened, by for the sake of a keeping it more or less of a short email, here's the spiritual thought of the week.

I was reading a talk called Divine Discontent (a talk in the general women's session, but 10/10 reccomend). There's a quote by C. S. Lewis that I loved that says

“Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably. … [You see,] He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of. … You thought you were [being] made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.”

God has a greater plan for us than we can imagine. I testify of the importance of putting Him first and seeking His will. Everything else will fall into place as we do.

  Hola, como estan?? Esta semana fue super loca , a lot went down this past week To start off, sorry it's been a while, I sent an email last week but I don’t think it ever went through.... so just for a quick recap, I got transferred to an area called La Espiga, where I'm covering a ward and a group, and I'm also a trainer, training Elder Godfrey!  Training has been fun and interesting. Let me just sum it up in one conversation we had... the gist of it was me asking "where are the norms (missionary standards handbook) that they gave you?" His reply was "I never got those"  It's been fun though, he's doing well and learning pretty fast, even though some days he makes me want to pull my hair out (I suppose that’s why they call it having a kid in the mission ) The work is going great over here, we have a lot of people progressing and a couple fechas (baptism dates) here pretty soon! First comp pic with Elder Cook Welcome back to the country Hola a todos, como estamos?? Here's a couple things that have gone down here in the past couple weeks First up, transfers hit super hard. After 6 months in Las Cañas I was transferred to a pueblito (little town) called San Rafael. It's clear across the mission, in the Usulutan zone. Ngl, it was super sad to leave Las Cañas and all of the converts there, and unfortunately we weren't able to leave with another baptism, but we did leave 7 dates for this month of February!! This area couldn't be more different than my last; there I was in the city, and now it's open country. I came from a ward, and now we're trying to start a branch down here (super crazy stuff), and now I'm with Elder Cook who's in his 3rd transfer, so it's a blast!! Zona Usulutan Exchanges with Elder Hunter Some area photos Holaaa a todos! Como estan?? It's been a little while, thought I'd give a quick run down of what's been going on: 1. Had 5 friends at church this past week!! (Finally!! ) It's about at least a 45 minute drive to the church, so it was a super big miracle!! 2. Still don't have a house in our area, we might not have one this transfer. It's ok though, getting to know a bunch of cool people in the bus 3. Went to a future-missionary conference in San Miguel and got to see all of of my old friends and converts from Moncagua, it was super awesome seeing them after a year!! 4. About the title: Let's just say to get home in the night time we've waited for a bus 5 times, but 3 of the 5 times random strangers have stopped and given us rides . They've led to 2 cool conversations about how they met the missionaries before, and only 1 near death experience with a drowsy driver playing and purposely brake ch...
