Some views!!
A bit hard to see, but the band outside our window this morning🙂
Food shoutout of the week- member meal, most American food I've had for a while

Hola everyone! Como están?

It was another crazy week full of miracles!! I'll keep it pretty short, here's a quick rundown:

1. We have an amazing new friend named Karla, she was a reference from some other elders here in the area. She's been searching for "something missing" in her life, and of course we've been more than happy to help her out! We've been seeing miracle after miracle with her; first, gave her a pamphlet to read about the Restoration, and she actually read it!! (doesn't happen that often) Not only that though, but when learning about Joseph Smith, she told us that she understood his story and that she felt the same way, confused and searching for an answer. She was also able to come to church this last week, it was incredible and super spiritual!!

2. On the slightly less spiritual side (and about the title) we had a very interesting and unfortunate alarm this morning. This past week, there's been a festival here in Moncagua, parades, ferris wheels, rides, the whole shebang. So it's been a very very noisy and busy week here; especially at 4:30 this morning🫠 We were sleeping peacefully when out of nowhere a full marching band starts blasting music right outside our window, it was super unfortunate.

3. Lastly, I wanted to share a little spiritual thought!
Something that stuck out to me this week is our memory. While reading in the Book of Mormon the story of Nephi (super cool story, if you haven't read it you totally should😁) something that caught my attention was Laman and Lemuel's part in it. To keep this short, basically Laman and Lemuel had incredible spiritual experiences (literally saw an angel) yet rebeled over and over again against the Lord. How could that be?? Personally, if I had seen an angel and all of these miracles, that would be a pretty life changing experience. Then I read 1 Nephi 7:10-11
10 How is it that ye have forgotten that ye have seen an angel of the Lord?
11 Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten what great things the Lord hath done for us..?
Here we find the answer. Satan is extremely good at making us forget our spiritual experiences and the miracles that we see in our life. So my invitation to you guys is to not forget!! Write down experiences, set reminders, or share with others, do whatever it takes to remeber these sacred and special experiences!!

That's about all I have for this week, as always, let me know how life has been going for you!! Sorry if I'm a bit slow getting back to you, I promise I'll get there eventually!!

Nos vemos pues🫡

Elder Bagley
