Letter #23
Our second hour of church this week

First week of English class!!
Can't ever get tired of these views
Hola everyone!! Sorry I didn't get an email out last week, I know I say this every week, but it's actually been an insane week, we've been working insanely hard, had some amazing miracles!!
A quick rundown of what went down:
The past two sundays we've had were pretty much polar opposites. On saturday 2 weeks ago we had just around 18 people lined up to come with us to church this week (it was going to be incredible) but satan worked super hard, and we only ended up having 3, it was a pretty rough one. Buttttt the next Sunday (yesterday) we had 14 people from our area come (an amazing mirafle already) but then another insane miracle that's going to take some explaining:
For the first part of context, there's a local fútbol team that's been using the little court we have at the church for their soccer practice. It's a big organization, roughly 75-100 people that come regularly.
For the second part of context, gotta brag on our bishop here again. He has such strong desires to serve the Lord, and has no shame at all in sharing the gospel (see where this is going??) Anyways, to make a long story short, bishop invited the whole team to come to church this Sunday... and they actually came!!! During the second hour of church, we (the 4 missionaries) taught a group of roughly 75 people in the chapel, gave out a bunch of folletos (pamphlets), and made a bunch of contacts!! Not only that, but they invited us to come to every one of their practices to share a spiritual thought with them before they practice!!! It was such a great miracle, without a doubt the the best Sunday I've ever had!!
We're also getting really close to having a lot of our friends on date as well!! We have one baptism planned for this saturday, have 2 people praying about a day to be baptized, and have another family that we'll try to put on date this week! The Lord truly is hastening His work here!!
As for spiritual, something that stuck out to me this week is that the Lord truly has a plan for each and every one of us, even when we can't see it. Do you best to live in a way to be worthy of the Spirit, and He will permit you to catch a glimpse of it from time to time, it's truly incredible!! There's no way in this world that me and my companions here (as amazing missionaries as they are) would have had any of these miracles without the help of the Lord, I can testify without doubt that He has a plan for each and every one of us. So don't get discouraged, push forward with faith!!
That's about all I have for right now... hope you guys are all doing amazing!! Just a heads up, I'm probably not going to have time to send a whole bunch of emails today, I'll promise I'll answer as quick as I can!! Thank you guys for everything, and as always, keep a lookout for those little miracles in your life!!
