)What's up everybody! It's been a little while (sorry about that) so I'd thought I've give a little update on what's been happening past couple weeks!!
First up, I got transferred out of Quezaltepeque. I was pretty sad to leave, the area, the work, and the members are incredible, but it's alright! Got to leave the area with one last baptism, Hermana MarΓa Julia decided to be baptized!! It was super special to be able to work with her and her family, she's super eligido
Now for transfer news.... drum roll
.... I'm now DL in Santo TomΓ‘s 1, a bit south of San Salvador!! It's an awesome area, (and also not at 0 feet above sea level for once
) so it's (relatively speaking) a lot cooler!! There's a lot of sick mountains too, let's just say I'm getting a lot more exercise in this area.

1. My new companion is Elder Evans. This is pretty crazy, because he was in Quezaltepeque with me the past two transfers (different area but same house) so we know eachother pretty well already, it's awesome!! Still keeping my streak of only 4 elder houses going strong as well

2. One of my previous companions was here in this area, and I've heard a lottttt of stories about the house here (supposedly super haunted, enough to be blessed by our mission president twice
). But nothing too sketchy has happened yet, so I think we're doing alright.

) and something that has stuck out to me is the reality of His life and mission. It's easy to say the words "Christ lived and perfect life and died for our sins," but I think oftentimes we don't think of the reality of that sentence. Christ was like us; He had agency, He felt pain, and had temptations just like us. BUT, unlike us, He always exercised His agency to follow the will of His father, to the point where He suffered more than anyone else could have suffered without dying, and even then, made it possible for us to live again and be like Him one day in a way that we cannot completely comprehend. I just want to testify to you of the reality of His life and His love, I know that He lives.

Til next time
